Where does the festival take place?
The Palm Springs Photo Festival Spring 2023 event is divided into two parts: In-Person workshops in Palm Springs will take place from Sunday, April 30th to Thursday, May 4th, 2023. Our Portfolio Review program will be conducted entirely ONLINE from May 15th – 17th.
All festival events are scheduled in PACIFIC STANDARD TIME
Do I need to pay a Daily Registration Fee to attend the festival?
An $35 daily registration fee is required for each day of Festival attendance.
What is your Cancellation Policy if I have to cancel my registration?
The LAST DAY for Refund requests is April 20th, 2023 at 11:59pm. There are no refunds after this date.
Early cancellation of a registration results in a small $35.00 administrative fee. For those canceling a workshop, the administrative fee is $100. For Workshop Attendees: After May 5th, all fees are non-refundable except in case of any course cancellation by the festival, in which case we’ll use our best efforts to move you into another workshop of your choice.

If I attend a Workshop, do I still need to pay a registration fee?
Daily registration is charged for each day of registration in the nominal amount of $50 which holds your place in our Workshop and portfolio Review programs and notifies you of all changes in your schedule until the event. Our networking event for workshop attendees in Palm Springs will feature an open bar.
How does the Portfolio Review Program work?
All those pre-registered for Portfolio Reviews before Friday, April 15th will receive several emails from us enabling them to submit their top reviewer choices online. We guarantee granting at least 60% of these requests! The remaining portfolio reviews will be available to all others once the pre-registered attendee’s requests have been assigned. Of course attendees will be able to sign up for reviews at any time up to and including the festival days – but the largest possible choices will be reserved for those registered before the April 30th deadline (or when the program is full, whichever occurs first). Reviews are by appointment only. Price is $510. Additional series of six reviews or more may be purchased up to a limit of 18 reviews. Discounts apply to 12 or more reviews until May 5th. You should be present in our online waiting area at least 5 minutes before your review. We reserve the option to allow others to take the review if you’re not there at least 3 minutes before the review is scheduled to begin.
